An HVAC school course in refrigeration basic principles, operations, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of domestic and light commercial refrigerators, freezers, walk-in coolers, ice machines, juice machines, and water fountains.  Topics include Section 608 refrigerant certification, the laws of thermodynamics, compression cycle, defrost mechanisms, latent and sensible heat, methods of heat transfer, electrical circuits, and methods of cutting, bending, and torching tubing.
